We are delighted to share this poster showcasing the work undertaken in our Federation area highlighting Best Practice / Service Development in ‘Addressing Cardiopulmonary Risk in COPD Patients’ has been accepted for display at the Primary Care Respiratory Society (PCRS) Conference 2024 which was held in September this year.

In August 2023, a Joint working project was agreed between the North Belfast GP Federation and AstraZeneca UK. To meet project demands, the Federation contracted and collaborated with Screen Clinical Limited to provide additional resources to fulfil the project.  The project aimed to identify COPD patients with increased cardiopulmonary risk and to subsequently minimise risk in primary care by focussing on implementing the 5 fundamentals of COPD care.
